NEWS: Johnny Fiasco completes sound design for new T-Mobile Sidekick 4G

Over the past twenty years, Johnny Fiasco has become a legend and recognized as a true pioneer of Chicago house music. This impressive producer and remixer logs 150k plus frequent-flyer miles a year spinning at clubs and special events globally, from Seattle to Istanbul, including every major city in US. Fiasco’s beginnings can be found at Chicago’s Shelter, pushing the boundaries by pioneering house music at Smartbar, Lizard Lounge and the infamous Club Naked alongside Mark Farina. Today, Fiasco is one of house music’s top producers and remixers. Fiasco’s “Things That Go Bump In The Night” is currently one of Om records best selling single to date.

Fiasco’s style is enviable, as the beats are always booming and the vibe deep, but his infectious (not to mention expansive) take on house continually breathes new life into the sound.

Additionally, Johnny’s remixes of Soulstice “Lovely” to Kaskade’s “Meditation to the Groove” and now Bassnectar’s “Yo” Remix have become an integral part of the Om Records unique sound. Other remixes have included work with Kaskade, Owl City, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, KD Lang and Bob Sinclair. 2007 Billboard Credits Johnny Fiasco’s - Samantha James “Rise” #1 chart position and Beatport’s #1 download in December of 2006. Remarkably, Fiasco’s vast remix catalogue includes pop icons such as Gloria Estefan, KD Lang, Michelle Indegeochelo, and Donna Blakely. In 2003, one of his remixes was a #1 Billboard® chart- topping dance floor rework of Justin Timberlake’s smash single “Cry Me A River.”

Without a doubt a Fiasco record can always be found in record crates of DJs worldwide. Aside from his tour de force, the masterful and accomplished Fiasco continually reinvents himself through his timeless house music creations. Johnny Fiasco’s ‘Klassik Fiasco’ imprint was founded in 2005, bringin’ back a selection of tracks from 1997, sonically restored for 2008, revamped and released for the first time digitally.

As if that isn’t enough, Johnny was asked by T-Mobile to create cutting edge sound design for the new Sidekick 4G, and his mastering ears have given him ten-plus chart topping credits on Beatport with labels like Lets Pet Puppies, Digital Disco, Neighborhood House Watch, and most recently Santiago & Bushido’s Beatport number one track ‘For What’ on Potty Mouth.
